On Thursday, June 13, 2002, Cirque du Soleil performers were on hand as Cirque du Soleil and MGM Mirage announced their new partnership for two new projects on the Las Vegas strip. The first, a show at the New York, New York Hotel & Casino to open in 2003 and a second show at the MGM Grand, which is expected to open in 2004. The press conference pictures are below:
